What Makes Grove Different
Personalized Approach
Every child and every family is unique. I listen carefully to understand your goals, your child’s needs, and your family’s core values, then design a plan that fits your journey. As a parent of two teenagers with distinct personalities and learning needs, I know how challenging it can be when a school isn’t the right fit, and how transformative it is when a child finds an environment where they truly thrive.
Whole-Child Perspective
I look beyond academics, considering each child’s social, emotional, and creative development. This helps families find learning environments that nurture both confidence and connection. I pay close attention to school culture, interpersonal dynamics, and the extracurricular offerings that shape a child’s experience — from robotics and performing arts to service learning and team sports.
Evidence-Informed Guidance
My recommendations are grounded in qualitative data — including educational testing, observation, and feedback from teachers and specialists — so families can feel confident that my advice is thoughtful, informed, and rooted in a full understanding of each child.
Trusted Professional Network
I collaborate with a broad network of experts — including psychologists, educational evaluators, learning specialists, mental health clinicians, speech and occupational therapists, educators, and tutors — to ensure families have access to the highest-quality support. When additional insight or support is needed, I connect families with professionals I consider the best in their field.
Local Expertise
As a longtime Denver parent and volunteer, I’ve experienced the city’s schools firsthand — from neighborhood public elementary schools to independent college-preparatory settings, and everything in between. With nearly 200 K-12 schools in the Denver Public Schools district and more than 210 private K-12 schools within 25 miles of the city, the landscape is broad and varied. This range includes gifted and talented programs; schools that support learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and twice-exceptional (2e) needs; International Baccalaureate (IB) programs; STEM-focused environments; arts-integrated schools; and faith-based communities. I help families focus on environments that align with their child’s needs and their family’s values.
Ongoing School Insight
I regularly tour and engage with schools across the Denver area to stay current on each community’s course offerings, academic performance, leadership, student life, enrichment opportunities, and admissions timelines. My goal is to provide families with accurate, up-to-date insight at every step.
